The abbreviations stand for 1^er régiment de marche d’Afrique and Armee Orient.

The Numéro du bureau 509 belonged to the 122^ème Division d’Infanterie [1]

At the Front the card shows an image of the barracks in Monastir damaged after a bombardement.

The legend of the postcard reads

Macédoine 1917 MONASTIR – Les Casernes après le Bombardement.
